Fortis Energy signs agreement with Schletter for utility-scale solar-storage projects totalling over 300 MW.
Fortis Energy has concluded an agreement with Schletter Group, one of the leading manufacturers of photovoltaic mounting systems, covering over 300 MW of solar-plus-storage projects in Europe. The projects are scheduled for realization in 2027.Over the coming months, the Fortis Energy and Schletter teams will work together on the planning and preparation of the sites, including site-specific structural design, delivery scheduling and installation planning aligned with the overall construction programme of each project.
The projects form a substantial part of Fortis Energy's near-term pipeline in Europe, where Fortis develops and invests in solar, wind and battery storage projects under its green baseload strategy. The agreement is one of several supply and services partnerships being finalized for the 2027 construction cycle, in line with Fortis Energy's practice of contracting core components with specialized manufacturers on a project-portfolio basis. The cooperation with Schletter is planned to extend to further projects across Fortis Energy's pipeline.
The agreement was concluded by Mehmet Burak Üçkardeş, President of Fortis Energy, and Daniel Rehm, CEO of Schletter Group, together with Hakki Baris KARACA, Vice President Business Development of Fortis Energy, Thomas Dorsch, Global Director Sales of Schletter, and Umut GURSAN, International Sales, Schletter following technical and commercial discussions between the two teams.
