Fortis Energy took part in the RES SERBIA 2026 conference, organized by OIE Srbija and held on 15–16 September in Vrdnik under the auspices of the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia. Fortis Energy was also a sponsor of the conference. Now in its sixth edition, the conference brought together policymakers, investors, financial institutions and industry representatives to discuss the current agenda of the energy transition in Serbia and the wider region.Fortis Energy was represented by members of its senior management team together with the CEE & Adriatic offices in Serbia, taking part in both days of the program. As part of the agenda, CEE CEO Nikola Oklobdžija spoke on the panel "Building Green Infrastructure: From Plans to a Stable Grid," sharing Fortis Energy's regional experience and investment outlook, and highlighting the critical role of public–private collaboration in driving sustainable growth. During the conference, Nevena Bugarčić received a plaque presented to Fortis Energy by the organizers in recognition of its support for the event.
The conference once again underlined the scale of the challenges and investment opportunities created by the energy transition. Fortis Energy's participation reflects its continued commitment to the Serbian market and to the region's green transition goals.
