Fortis Energy secured construction permit for 62 MW Erseke SPP.

Fortis Energy, continuing its growth in renewable energy investments, has received official construction approval for the 62 MW Ersekë Solar Power Plant project located in the Taç-Lartë, Kolonjë region of Albania.

 

Approved by the Albanian government authorities, Ersekë SPP is poised to play a key role in the country’s sustainable energy transition. The construction and installation of the power plant will be completed within three years and operated by Fortis Energy for a period of 49 years. Ersekë SPP is expected to generate over 135 GWh of clean and renewable energy annually.

 

Throughout the project lifecycle, Fortis Energy will work in full alignment with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the National Agency of Natural Resources, maintaining full compliance with all regulatory requirements. As part of our long-term commitment to Albania, we will support national electricity needs and delivering direct public value.
